The very popular Game of Thrones TV-series is based on George R. R. Martinin Fire and Ice fantasy books.
Unfortunately the castles in the TV-series are far too small compared to the castles in the books.
The worst example is Winterfell, which is presented as far too small.

Fortunately the castle in the books has now been recreated with computer animation.
It has been noted that the castle in the books is superbly designed to be impregnable!
